When Coldwater Cafe, a very successful and much loved small venue in Tipp City announced they were moving to new digs, this reporter feared the worst. The food would still be great, but the “magic” would be gone. Well, my fears were all put to rest last night. I am here to announce that the “magic” has not been lost. Everything is perfect. President Betty Peachey, Chef Nick Hoover and Designer Randy Luken are the three stars that were perfectly aligned to create this phenomenon. The execution of the design is perfect, and the room(s) have an ambiance and panache never before found in Miami County Ohio, or for that matter in Ohio. The atmosphere is like a Paris cafe surrounded by cornfields. I never expected anything less than great things that Chef Nick has been putting out for several years. Nick always creates interesting creative specials and desserts. Impeccable. Please have a piece of English Tea Cake waiting for my next visit.
